Trump just said he is removing the National Guard from Chicago, LA, and Portland, but says “we will come back, perhaps in a much different and stronger form”.

HE IS TALKING ABOUT SENDING IN ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY VIA THE INSURRECTION ACT!!!

This comes after the Supreme Court ruling in Trump Admin v. Chicago, where they ruled that Trump was not allowed to send NG troops to Chicago to defend federal buildings, but Kavanaugh outlined in his opinion that Trump would be allowed to send Active Duty US MIL into Chicago via the Insurrection Act.

We are one step closer to Trump invoking the Insurrection Act!

I believe Trump is flat-out telling us that invoking the Insurrection Act is on the table.

Quick reminder on the Insurrection Act of 1807. It allows the U.S. President to deploy federal military forces domestically to suppress insurrections, rebellions, or domestic violence and enforce federal law when state authorities are unable or unwilling to do so. Here are its main points, condensed:

1. Presidential Authority: The President can deploy U.S. military troops or federalize state militia to address domestic unrest or lawlessness.
2. Triggers: Can be invoked in cases of insurrection, rebellion, or when domestic violence obstructs federal law enforcement or deprives citizens of constitutional rights.

NOTE:  Happening all over the country, in particular in demoFRAUD controlled cities and states right now.

3. Scope: Applies when state governments request federal assistance or fail to maintain order, enabling federal intervention to restore law and order.

4. Proclamation Requirement: The President must issue a proclamation ordering insurgents to disperse before deploying forces, though this can be bypassed in urgent cases.

NOTE: Trump proclaimed it on Jan06, 2021, when he told us all to go home in peace.

5. Limitations: Use is discretionary but can be subject to congressional oversight and potential judicial review; troops must adhere to constitutional protections.

NOTE: There are no limitations with respect to Treason and Sedition.

The act has been amended over time, notably in 1878 (Posse Comitatus Act) to limit military involvement in civilian law enforcement, except when authorized by this act or other laws.

NOTE: Trump invoked the Insurrection Act on Dec15, 2020, along with suspending Habeus Corpus, as well as Posse Comitatus. And he has SCOTUS backing, which was provided for with Justice Kav’s dissent ruling on 12.22.2025.
