The Ones Who Stood
There is a sense of validation in the air right now. Not that we ever needed it; the one thing about truth is that it is self-validating. It does not require applause, approval or consensus to stand firm. But I would be lying if I said there isn’t something undeniably satisfying about watching the very narratives we were condemned for questioning begin to unravel in full public view.
For years we were dismissed, labelled, caricatured as irrational or dangerous. Yet being called crazy by a world that has normalised deception, censorship and moral inversion was perhaps the clearest confirmation that we were thinking clearly all along.
To be or not to be sane was the real test.
In a world of inversion and distortion, remaining loyal to truth was the greatest challenge of our time. It meant enduring rejection, ridicule, fractured relationships and the most sophisticated gaslighting experiment ever unleashed on humanity. Frankly, we should receive an honours degree for surviving it.
But this is not a victory lap, not yet.
I have a feeling the hardest exam may still be waiting around the corner. Systems that have ruled through manipulation for generations do not dissolve overnight. There may yet be another layer, another test of discernment, another attempt to break the spirit.
The difference now is that we are no longer unprepared.
We have the tools, the discernment, the strength, the courage and the wisdom necessary to pass whatever challenge comes next.
Inadvertently, they turned us into warriors. Reluctant fighters forced to take up intellectual and spiritual arms against the forces that have shaped this world since the fall of man. And I am proud of us for it.
Proud of those who stood firm when it was easier to conform. Proud of those who lost friends, reputations and opportunities but refused to betray what they knew to be true.
God is smiling at us for finally embodying who we were made to be.
