This morning I went for a walk at Princess Place Preserve with one of my new housemates, Christy. The weather was good, a bit cool to start out but soon warmed to 70F.
We started our walk near the covered bridge and did a big loop through the park following one of the equestrian trails that goes through a section of old growth forest.
Then we circled around the Lodge, passed by the cottages following Creekside Trail until returning back to the car.
After completing our walk, I drove my friend around the loop road. We enjoyed the outing.
I hope all my American readers enjoyed Thanksgiving and survived Black Friday.
In joy!

A beautiful walk, especially to enjoy with a new friend. I really like the name, “Loblolly Pines”. If I ever change my name, it will be to Loblolly Pines. Thanks, Eliza, for posting a delightful photo journal entry. Much love, Altea

Lovely to walk with a friend, and to see an armadillo – neat! Enjoy the warmth; 18 here this morning! Brrrrrr Not used to it yet. Nice to see pretty unwintery photos. Thanks. Francie
