12th Anniversary of Blogging on WordPress

Announcement to Readers:

This is the 12th anniversary of when I started blogging on WordPress. I started first with Blue Dragon Journal and then progressed to Sunny’s Journal.

It’s been quite a journey, for me and my readers.

As many of you know already, I am closing down Blue Dragon Journal. It will only be available to access until June 30th, when I will close it permanently. I have simply moved on from what and who I was when I first started blogging.

This morning when I went out for my morning walk, I heard a froggy chorus of cheerful amphibians rejoicing in the sharp thunderstorm that we experienced here last night. The wet season has arrived and with it comes periodic and sometimes daily showers, thunderstorms, tropical storms, and possibly a hurricane or two. This is Florida. The temperature was in the upper 70’s F, probably as cool as it will be for the next four months. The humidity levels were at 91%, yet I felt comfortable if a bit damp after my exertions. With the heat and humidity I will not be making as many photography excursions. I simply melt in the heat.

Here I am talking about the weather instead of writing about my experiences as a blogger!

I love to write, always have ever since I was a youngster and could hold a pencil in my hand.

Another one of my interests is plants and gardening. I think that direction may be pulling more at me in the near future.

We’ll see what the summer brings in terms of geopolitics. I know I am personally getting tired of the movie and want to move onto more positive directions.

Thanks for supporting Sunny’s Journal. I do appreciate all of my readers, old and new.
