When you encounter a highly conscious person, one of two things tends to happen.

One: You allow them to initiate you into a higher version of yourself by revealing the parts of yourself you’re unconscious of. Two: They trigger your ego so deeply that you reject the mirror entirely, withdraw from the connection, and project your shadows onto them.

There’s no third option.

You either grow or you resist.

You either thank them for the reflection or you blame them for showing you what you don’t want to see.

The conscious ones aren’t trying to threaten you.

They’re just holding up a mirror. What you do with that mirror is up to you.

If you feel defensive around someone, pause. Ask yourself: what are they showing me about myself that I’m not ready to face?

That question is the door to growth.

Walk through it. Or stay the same.

The choice is yours.
