Roseate Spoonbill

Journal Entry & Some Questions for Readers, June 26, 2023

Have I ever told you that Florida birds are amazing? Yesterday on my neighborhood walk, I saw a Roseate Spoonbill fly across one of our local ponds. On a nearly daily basis, I see an assortment of herons (Great Blue, Little Blue, Green, and Tri-color), anghinas, egrets, ibis, marsh hens, limpkin, assorted ducks, wild marsh rabbits (tiny cottontails), black birds, crows, grackle, doves, mockingbirds, cardinals, jays, etc. The trees, sky, water and grasses are alive with life.

Summer is here in SE Florida, hot and steamy. Humidity ranges from 70 to 91%, with rain and thundershowers most days. It is the rainy season in this subtropical climate.

Now, I wanted to ask my readers to chime in on a couple of items.

  • Do you “like” the current content?
  • Should I add any content… my own or others?
  • If I could change anything, what would it be?

I don’t guarantee that I would initiate any suggestions given, but I am curious.

Now, if there is anything that you really don’t like, you’re free to go elsewhere or simply keep scrolling. I do offer an eclectic mix of content here.

Remember, I have never charged a dime for my content… or insights.

I’m not here to persuade anyone to believe what I say or what I share; that is entirely up to you to develop your own discernment as to what resonates within.

I know some of the present content might be upsetting to those who are not aware of what is going on in the world, but it could be a lot more graphic. I do have some standards.

If there is anything I share but you want more information, you are welcome and encouraged to do your own digging and searching for answers that satisfy your curiosity.

One thing that makes Earth humans unique is our curiosity and willingness to sometimes stretch our minds to take in new and sometimes puzzling information that pushes on our former boundaries, but isn’t that what growth and evolution is all about?

Evolution requires challenge. If you don’t want to be challenged, you shouldn’t be reading this stuff.

Now, don’t be shy… write your opinions and ideas. I don’t bite, but do keep in mind if the comment is rude and divisive, it will be removed and the writer banned. Like I said, I do have some standards to keep, if only for retaining my own particular brand of sanity and keeping the general vibe of this blog high.

Be well,

Eliza

Thanks, Altea, for your response. My notes to readers contain my insights and present (subject to change) observations on the current events. I am certainly not a professional scholar when it comes to geopolitics, just someone who has observed the world in chaos since I was born into the 1950’s. I remember when JFK was assassinated. I remember a lot of things the leftist revisionists would have us forget in order to push their version of world history. I even remember having another gender in other lifetimes. This sort of remembrance gives one a certain perspective on life in general… not a “better” one, just my unique window of consciousness. So, reporting from the Florida swamp… Thanks, again. ❤ Eliza

Hi Eliza. I don’t know what Altea said, but I was going to say what Barbara said, almost word for word. I think what you’re doing is perfect! Many thanks for the time you take to keep us up with everything, and especially for your notes. Greatly appreciated! Francie

    Hi Eliza from downtown Australia:
I am really appreciating what you are offering and read at least 80% of it. I can easily press delete if I am not in tune with what may be written – but that is not a judgement – just an understanding of what I am choosing to read. You are doing wonderful work in spreading good energies of understanding in the bigger picture. In loving thanks – Libby

Thank you, Libby. You’re learning what you can handle, as am I. There is a lot of material I choose not to post as it is a bit… Well, I’m aware and that’s enough. I feel people need hope now more than ever as we make our way through an admittedly dark night of the Soul for many. I do love the colorful energies of the Aussie people, too. G’day. ❤ Eliza
