Hi, everyone. I’ve been having trouble downloading my photos onto my laptop, so I changed my memory card out. After some fooling around, I finally got the above photos to download. Success!
I took one of my classic walks, first to River to Sea Preserve and then Washington Oaks Gardens SP.
It was a very brisk and windy day. I wore 3 layers and managed to keep warm, but didn’t need to shed. We were having yet another cold front moving into north Florida this week. I don’t mind the chill. It’s actually refreshing for someone who has spent more time further north and in mountains.
The Camellias in the formal garden (Washington Oaks) were in bloom and I was able to walk through the rumpled rose garden and still find some reasonable blooms. We’ve had some frosts (believe it or not) and a bit of rain, so most of the blooms were a bit crumpled.
The two walks combined make up for about 3.5 miles estimated.
Hope you enjoyed the show!

The forests look exotic from a Midwest POV – I’d enjoy long walks through those.
