Eliza, I have something important to report. I had no other way to tell you. On January 21 on Restored Republic Judy Byington there was a note from JFK Jr saying he is alive and that he IS Jaun O Savin. Forgive me if I am out of place with this but I didn’t know if you knew this on Judy Byington. It is now out to the public. I felt I had to tell you. Thanks for all your information.

Nick, so true. Florida may get hurricanes and tropical storms but we don’t usually get buried in 9 feet of snow and 1/2 inch of ice and sleet.
We’ll be getting temperatures in the 50’s during daylight hours and upper 30’s at night. Quite doable, and I still have winter sweaters and coats for warmth if needed, plus woolen hiking socks, hats, and mittens.
We did have a couple of nights with frost this past week with lows into the 20’s. People have wrapped their more tender plants in sheets for the duration. However, on Sunday, we’re supposed to get a warm front with temps up into the low 80’s. Next day, they drop again. It’s a pattern I’ve come to recognize here, cold front pushing warm air ahead of it and then temps dropping.
Take care, Northerners. Blizzards are nothing to ignore… just like hurricanes.
      Eliza
