Crying | Maxpein

There comes a moment when the soul can no longer hold the weight it was never meant to carry alone. The tears that rise are not a collapse. They are a sacred unclenching.

In the old mysteries, weeping was understood as a rite of passage. The eyes become doorways. What has been locked behind the ribs, behind the jaw, behind the proud and weary will, is finally allowed to leave. The body remembers what the mind has forgotten: that control was only ever a temporary shelter, never a home.

Crying is the soul loosening its grip on the illusion of sovereignty. It is the ego kneeling before the greater current. It is the heart remembering it was never meant to be a fortress, only a vessel. When the tears fall, something ancient is being returned to the river that made us.

Do not apologize for the water that moves through you. It is not weakness leaking out. It is the dam finally remembering it was built by human hands, and the ocean has always been waiting on the other side.

Let it come. Let it leave. In the space that remains, something quieter and truer begins to breathe.

The ones who never weep are not stronger. They are simply still holding what was never theirs to keep.

Release is not the opposite of power.
It is the moment power stops pretending it must do everything alone.
