👀👆👆🚨 TIMELINES PATTERNS & THE MAP JUST GOT BIGGER AND THIS FITS DIRECTLY INTO THE RESOURCE / SOVEREIGN WEALTH / CITIZEN-ACCOUNT TIMELINE
This is why I keep saying: follow the timeline, not the headlines.
On September 29, 2026, the U.S. Geological Survey quietly released an updated national database identifying 1,271 known critical-mineral deposits across 41 states and Puerto Rico covering 59 critical minerals. Of those deposits, 412 almost one-third contain documented critical-mineral resources but have never produced anything. USGS calls them “untapped potential for critical mineral production.” USGS
Now back up.
In 2013, during the Obama administration, Interior testified before Congress that federal resources are managed for the American people, “who all share in their ownership,” and explicitly said taxpayers deserve a fair return from developing those resources. U.S. Department of the Interior
Then in 2017, Trump signed Executive Order 13817. Read what the problem statement actually said: America possessed significant mineral deposits, but lacked the comprehensive, machine-readable geological and geophysical information necessary to fully understand and develop them. The response was essentially: find them, map them, understand them. GovInfo
Then in 2019, Trump’s Interior Department went before Congress and repeated almost the same ownership principle used under Obama:
“Our federal resources are managed on behalf of the American people, who all share in their ownership.” U.S. Department of the Interior
Then comes 2025.
Trump orders Treasury and Commerce to design a United States Sovereign Wealth Fund, declaring that U.S. policy is to maximize stewardship of “our national wealth for the sole benefit of American citizens.” Treasury and Commerce are specifically told to develop the funding mechanisms, investment strategy, structure and governance. The White House
And Congress creates something else that year that I don’t think should be ignored in this conversation: Trump Accounts.
Public Law 119-21 creates individually owned investment accounts and, for qualifying U.S.-citizen children born from 2025 through 2028, directs Treasury to make a $1,000 payment directly into the child’s account.
In plain English, Congress built an actual federal rail:
TREASURY → INDIVIDUAL AMERICAN → INDIVIDUALLY OWNED INVESTMENT ACCOUNT. GovInfo
Now jump forward to this week’s USGS announcement.
The mapping operation that grew out of this critical-mineral strategy is now identifying where America’s mineral resources actually are, and USGS says Earth MRI is currently remapping the entire United States using modern airborne surveys. USGS
So stand back to 40,000 feet:
2013: Americans “share in the ownership” of federal resources.
2017: Map the critical-mineral estate.
2019: Those resources are managed “on behalf of the American people.”
2025: Build a Sovereign Wealth Fund around stewardship of “national wealth” for the benefit of American citizens.
2025: Build individually owned citizen investment accounts with a direct Treasury contribution mechanism.
2026: USGS identifies 1,271 known critical-mineral deposits, including 412 documented deposits with no previous production.
And this arrives while people like Jim Rickards are publicly talking about the potentially enormous value locked inside America’s resource base.
Now, let’s keep the evidence line clean.
This USGS announcement does not say those 1,271 deposits are worth $150 trillion. It doesn’t say every deposit is federally owned. It doesn’t say resource proceeds are going into a sovereign wealth fund. And nothing currently directs mineral proceeds into Trump Accounts.
That bridge has not been written into law.
But look at what has been built.
The government has spent years defining the public relationship to the resources.
It began mapping them.
It expanded the geological inventory.
It created a national-wealth framework.
It created a citizen-account framework.
And now USGS is publishing the actual map of what is sitting underneath America including hundreds of documented deposits that haven’t even been commercially produced.
That’s why this new USGS release matters to me.
You can’t value an asset until you know what you own.
You can’t strategically develop it until you know where it is.
And you can’t build a national balance sheet around resources that haven’t been inventoried.
MAP IT.
IDENTIFY IT.
VALUE IT.
DEVELOP IT.
DECIDE WHAT TO DO WITH THE VALUE.
The first four stages are increasingly visible in the public record.
The fifth is the one I’m watching.
Because if Congress ever connects revenues from national assets, royalties, reserve gains or sovereign-wealth returns to individual citizen accounts, that would be the missing piece that connects everything we’ve been tracking.
Until then, it’s a hypothesis.
But this week’s USGS release just gave us another very real receipt for the inventory stage.

~T edit: As we’ve discussed here many times. This is why there is so much [BLM] (offshore corp) land across the US. It’s all been mapped, though it was never made public. And after they had completed their 16 year plan, those of us left would be forced to mine it for [them] after they’d murdered most of us….
