Eliza: Photo Journal – Lehigh Trail / Royal Palm

Hmmm, one of the first rules of photography: don’t shoot into the sun. I got rainbows… Oh, well. I probably wouldn’t win any awards, but there is the beginning of today’s walk. I started at the junction of Rynfire and Royal Palm, continuing with chomping down another section of the Lehigh Trail.

Canal by Royal Palm

The intricate canal system is how people are able to now live in Florida. It used to be, quite literally, a swamp in many areas and still is. The canals, large and small, carry off storm waters and eventually dump into the intracoastal waterway (I guess).

This portion of trail is well-paved, available for runners, bikers, walkers, and strollers. I estimate I walked about four miles return trip.

While there were some good-sized oak trees off in the forest, most of the canopy consisted of tall skinny pine trees, indicating the area was logged off some years ago, probably when the railroad went in originally. Benches and trash bins are provided every so often. At the end of the trail on Belle Terre (at least one section), there is a bike station for pumping tires.

As I have said before in these journals, this Lehigh Trail is a rail to trail project, which travels for eight miles from Colbert Road to US Hwy 1. This trail is part of the extensive bike/walking trail system throughout Palm Coast. Being flat terrain, this gives young and old an excellent opportunity to exercise.

Oh, did I say the temperatures started out in the upper 40’s? It was a bit crisp and fresh for Florida, with more blue skies. Not a cloud to be seen.

One thing about this portion of the Lehigh Trail, there is constant swish and growl of traffic traveling on Royal Palm, one of the main east/west routes across southern Palm Coast. You only catch glimpses of the road and houses beyond, but the noise is always there, although I found myself tuning it out. Casual parking is available off of Royal Palm and Belle Terre on the eastern end of this section.

This portion of the trail is closer to home, but not quite as scenic. Access is good. I passed by small groups of walkers and bikers, and the occasional dog walker. The place wasn’t crowded, perhaps due to the chilliness of the weather.

I hope to get over to Princess Place later in the week. And perhaps go to Washington Oaks Gardens State Park on Christmas. I want to see if the camellias are blooming yet in the formal gardens.

That’s all for today. I didn’t do any editing of the photos.

Happy holidays to all, whatever you celebrate.

Eliza: Photo Journal, A Walk in the Sun

Last color of Autumn…

Well, how are y’all doing today? I took a walk at Lehigh Trail today, enjoying the sunshine that finally decided to show up. Last week’s weather was gloomy, clouds almost every day and I didn’t have enough ump to go anywhere. Thus, no photos. I don’t take photos in my own neighborhood, honoring the privacy of our neighbors.

The area received a ton of rain over the weekend, especially on Saturday night and into early Sunday morning. The storm which started in the Gulf of Mexico is still migrating up the Eastern seaboard and promises to deliver NYC a ton of rain today or tomorrow.

The “scenery” is similar to what you’ve seen before, but it was just nice to be outside. I do take daily walks in the ‘hood, but felt it was time to get out just a bit. Due to the amount of saturation the local area took, the coquina and sand trails might take a while to dry out.

I walked from Old Kings Road to the beginning of the long boardwalk that starts near Colbert Road, so I probably walked at least four miles this morning. The air was sparkling fresh and there was a sharp chilly breeze to start. Later on, the temperature began to moderate, but it still hasn’t risen above the mid-60’s F ~ 19C.

Graham Swamp was looking well-hydrated today, with the dark waters reflecting the intense blue skies. For once, the skies were without the grayish linear trails of geoengineering. Gosh, I guess the Air Force is giving us a day off…

The oak trees were looking dazzling in their holiday finery… oh, yes… they do wear it all year round. I’m not sure just why the Spanish moss seems to prefer oak trees but there it is. The oaks are evergreen live oaks, retaining their green leaves year round, although new leaves will push older ones off in the spring. The red maples and Liquidambar were, for the most part, naked in the late autumn sunlight.

Now, why didn’t I go anywhere last week? After the outing to Welaka State Forest, I was very tired. That ‘tired’ didn’t go away but lingered. And then the weather was gloomy and I wasn’t feeling motivated. Do I really have to explain myself? No.

One of my long-time readers wrote an email to me about being “sun-smacked” after I put up Pam Gregory’s video about the Geomagnetics that are currently affecting the planet. Our star, Sol, has been putting out some X class flares, which is bound to affect your physical body. Mine just happens to be super sensitive to such things, as it is sensitive to a lot of things.

The sun is being carefully modulated to push ascension on the Earth’s population. If you thought some of our current ET visitors were incapable of such feats then you’re going to be surprised. Even our benevolent Pleiadian friends from Ashaara (Taygeta) can terraform whole solar systems, much less one planet. The Intergalactic Confederation can create stars, solar systems, create inhabitable worlds, and seed sentient life. Our human race is ready to hatch — we just need a little energy to activate that quiescent DNA in our physical avatars. Of course, many folks don’t even believe in “aliens”. I hope there aren’t many of those disbelievers among my readers, else we’re going to have a long talk… Really, each to their own; just don’t be surprised when an 8ft lanky white blonde blue-eyed stranger pulls up next to you and addresses you telepathically. They will be showing up, at least those who look most like Earth humans, like the Alpha Centauri or Selosii, whose kin the Telosii already live within Inner Earth… Oh, yes, there’s a lot to grasp and y’all are going to receive a crash course in ETs in the coming years and decades.

Per Cmdr. Thor Han Ereydon, our solar system entered a 5D bubble in space. Our planet is now fully embedded within the bubble, but Earth humanity needs to rise up in frequency so the melding will be less stressful. Keep in mind, physical bodies consist of water and electricity. Too much voltage all at once and the power structure is destroyed. So, our benevolent galactic friends are moderating the rise in frequency.

I certainly don’t have the necessary language or experience to convey this sort of information to you all. Just know, we’re not alone.

As for Earth politics, I am so tired of the clown show… I’m sure other people are, too. All signs are pointing to 2024 being at least initially rather chaotic, so prepare appropriately.

Message to all conspiracy theorists and curators:

To all of you who have spent years being ridiculed on social media and being called “crazy” and still standing up for what you believe in and trying to spread the truth to the public.

You lose friends and family, and despite being ridiculed, you speak the truth.

To all the lightworkers, starseeds, wayshowers, and alternative therapists who have always felt left out and different but never stopped being people who tried to offer another perspective on things.

I learned about energy healing, crystals, Mother Gaia, and healing therapies while everyone around me laughed.

You were different, you were eccentric, and you never adapted or adapted to this situation without regret.

For sensitive people who are heartbroken after learning about human trafficking, pedophile rings, and harm to children.

The awake people who realized what was going on in the world and had to break their hearts into a million pieces while thinking everyone in their lives was losing their minds.

You had to face all this alone and it broke your heart, but you made it through and faced the dark night of the soul!!

To the old souls who feel alone and different, who strive every day to help humanity who have lost many friends and family in the process of awakening.

The people who don’t go out anymore, the people who research till the end of the day, the people who dare to stand up and say things that no one else would say. >>>>>>>

You have dedicated your life to this ascension process. >>>>>>>

I respect each and every one of you. >>>>>>>

This process is the hardest thing anyone has ever had to do, but you did it first. >>>>>>>

Every day more and more people are waking up. >>>>>>>

I know it’s hard and I know you can be exhausted and exhausted by the negative reactions you’re getting, but this fight will be over soon and soon the world will realize what we did, and stay strong because you will find out why you did it. >>>>>>>

Where one goes, all go too. >>>>>>>

This time will be mentioned in history, and your efforts to awaken and heal humanity will not only affect our existence on Earth, but everything throughout the universe.
This is a galactic event and you chose this task before incarnating into this timeline.

You chose to be here now.

You are a divine being, remember who you are.

Eliza:  Journal Entry, December 11, 2023 – The Return of Christ Consciousness

Eliza:  Journal Entry, December 11, 2023

The Return of Christ Consciousness

Yesterday was an strange day.  I was still exhausted from the previous day’s outing, hike, drive, and chat with a new friend.  This may seem odd to some people, but to be around others can be stressful, especially since I have spent more than three years in relative solitude.  I’m what you might call a hypersensitive empath and tend to pick up on other people’s feelings quite easily.

I didn’t sleep well and woke up early on Sunday. While feeling exhausted, I still managed to get in another long neighborhood walk. Then, by afternoon, I felt I needed a nap.  I woke up some three hours later just in time to ‘attend’ a webinar given by Elena Danaan on the Return of Christ Consciousness.  The webinar was great, and I will expand upon its contents later in this entry.  By the time the webinar and Q&A ended it was after 19:00 EST.  I made the decision not to eat any dinner, so ended up fasting for about 24 hours.  Last night I slept until 2:30, got up for a short time and then slept again, probably banking about 12 hours of sleep if counting my nap time.

The morning is crisp and blue.  Florida’s blue skies are gorgeous until they are stained by geoengineering trails and the resulting scummy linear clouds.  Right now, the skies are blue, blue, blue.

So, what was the webinar about?  Christ Consciousness, Yeshua, and Ea.

For my new readers, Ea is the real name of the Crown Prince of the Anakh empire.  He was known as EN.KI, the once custodian or co-custodian of Earth along with his half-brother, Yuh or EN.LIL.

Recently, Ea as he prefers to be called, has told the people of Terra (her real name) to let go the fake religions.  Why would he do such a thing?  And why will he not return to Terra?  There are many reasons.

First of all, Elena launched into the actual history and meaning of Solstice, what we now call the Christmas season.  She noted that Yeshua was actually born in the spring, when the lambs are born, which would be in late winter, early spring… March.  The Solstice was celebrated as the shortest day and longest night of the year when the planet is furthest away from the sun in the northern latitudes due to its inclination.  For four days, the sun appears to remain in place; the days are the same length. Then, on December 25th, the days begin to grow slightly longer.  This time of the year was celebrated as the birth of the Sun, marking the return to longer days, heralding the coming spring when life would return to the world.  The Vatican used this celebration and other so-called pagan ones as a sort of overwriting the ancient ways of the indigenous cultures.  As a trained and certified Druid and someone trained in ancient Egyptian white magic (another word for science), Elena is well aware of the real history of Earth and former practices by various cultures.  She has read the ancient texts that describe such things.

Next, Elena explained the story about Ea and Yuh and their disagreement over the treatment of the indigenous humanoids of this planet. Yuh… EN.LIL wanted to create a slave race.  Ea…EN.KI wasn’t too pleased about that being a naturally compassionate individual, but he began to experiment with the genome of the humanoids brought to him. When he realized what he was looking at when he activated the frequency codes of these black-haired ones, he knew he had discovered something precious. The primitive humans were the result of a long-term evolutionary experiment made by ten intergalactic races and one mammal ancestor.  Ea and his team began their own experiments on the Nibiru, the great Anakh mothership, inside a biosphere which was called an Edin (Eden), a beautiful place filled with gardens and laboratories.  There, the first modern humans were eventually created after much experimentation.  Adapa was the name of the first perfect fully activated Homo sapien sapiens.  Eve came later.  Ea had managed to activate the potential of these first Terrans by adding some of his own DNA to the mix, allowing for higher frequency souls to imbue the physical bodies.  In short, Ea was the Father of a bloodline, the Christed bloodline.

And, before this story, Elena explained the meaning of “Christ”, which comes from the Greek word meaning “the anointed one”, similar in meaning to the Hebrew term “Messiah”.  The anointing means the individual is fully activated, an indication of the opening of the third eye, the pineal gland, through a kundalini experience.  Look up kundalini for further explanation.  Jesus (latinized version) or Yeshua was a fully activated individual, a very advanced high frequency soul who came here to teach humanity how to free themselves from the tyranny of the existing governments and religions.  And we all know how that went.  Did you know that Mary, the mother of Yeshua, was a descendant of Adam (Adapa) and that she had been abducted by positive ETs and inseminated with high frequency DNA in order to produce a high frequency vessel for the incoming soul of Yeshua.  Ea had a hand in this, so in effect, he was also the Father of Yeshua.

The cult of EN.LIL, which originated in upper Mesopotamia, and had later settled in Jerusalem. They became the Canaanites and even later, the priests of Yahweh… a tribal name for Enlil or Yuh.  When Yeshua told the priests, “Your father is not my Father!” he meant it.  Ea was his father, not Enlil, the half-reptilian hybrid Anakhim.

Yeshua was crucified by the Romans at the behest of the corrupt Pharisees, although there are stories he survived and went on to live a long life in the Orient. His daughter, Sarah, was born and raised by his wife, Mary Magdalene, in Gaul after her father’s death or disappearance.  The royal line of the Merovingian kings descended from Yeshua’s and Mary’s bloodline.  This bloodline and that of the Scots has been the target of attacks through the ages by the opposing Enlil faction.  Although Yeshua’s bloodline has expanded throughout Europe and into North America and elsewhere, Enlil’s offspring has remained insular, preferring to interbreed with cousins to keep the blood “pure”.  Understandably this disparity in bloodlines, their origins and purpose has led to thousands of years of conflict and persecution.

Elena also told us of the conflict between Enlil and Enki, wherein the commander of armies, Yuh, discovers his half-brother’s experimentation on the humanoids and throws a fit.  Enki had to secretly remove his ‘children’ and hide them on Terra.  Eventually, the enraged Enlil lured Enki from his residence on Atlaa (Atlantis) and into a space battle.  Ea’s son Marduk, who had been corrupted by his uncle, Enlil, imprisoned his father using a powerful magical weapon. Ea was forced to watch as his half-brother sent a huge comet into the northern continental icefields of North America and Greenland, creating a huge tsunami that engulfed Atlantis and submerged any cities lying on the coasts as the wild seas rose over 400 feet.  Filled with grief at his son’s betrayal and the death of millions on Terra, Ea was utterly defeated.  Elena did not tell us how Ea was able to release himself… She was rather overcome by the retelling of this sad story.  Can you see the parallels between the story of the early chapters of Star Wars?  Darth Vader was a representation of Marduk, although the latter was far worse a criminal.

In September 2021, Ea returned to this solar system in his beautiful huge starship, Nibiru. This time he was the Crown Prince of the ancient Anakhim empire.  Yuh was captured, judged by the High Councils of the Intergalactic Confederation, and sentenced to spend the remainder of his long life on a prison planet, where it would be his choice whether he wanted to seek redemption or not.  Knowing the irascible nature of Yuh, the fiery one, it is unlikely that he will ever see the outside of his prison.  Whether or not one is redeemed can be determined by their frequency level.  Being half-Ciakahrr (Alpha Draconis Reptilian) makes it difficult for Yuh to ever attain a higher frequency, as these beings belong to a hive collective and do not carry individuated souls.

Ea did not return alone but arrived accompanied by a huge fleet of the Intergalactic Confederation. As a contributor to the genome of the Terra Hu, and as a master geneticist, Ea is considered one of the forefathers of the humans of Terra.  Not all humans carry his genome, but all of the Terra Hu carry a unique and precious genome within their physical avatars, a genome which now contains the DNA components of up to 22 different intergalactic (10) and galactic star races (11) plus one mammal.  There isn’t another Hu man race in the universe as unique as our own.

Yet, we must remember our bodies are not “us”.  We, the soul essence contained within the body, are pure consciousness, a fractal of Source that at one time broke off from the original and descended into physicality.  We did not “fall” from grace.  We came to experience the 12 densities of physical life that is possible to experience within this universe (other universes contain a different number of densities depending on the evolutionary stage of the inhabitants).  As a part of a natural hologram, we contain within ourselves the wholeness of Source.  Our potential for evolutionary progress is unlimited.

Enlil recognized this potential immediately when he saw the result of his half-brother’s experiments.  He knew that the activated Terra Hu would outstrip his mother’s own race, the Ciakahrr; thus, he sought to strip the humans of their potential by having his scientists shut down a portion of the Terran DNA.  Yet, he did not realize that this DNA could be reactivated by a slight increase in frequency.  Systems were designed to suppress the knowledge and history of the ancients, populations were terrorized by religions, tyranny, wars, and pestilence.  And still, humanity survived.

Now, we are waking up from a drugged dream and realizing what we have endured.  Our best weapon against the enemy is unconditional love, although it takes great self-mastery to manage this state given what we are currently learning about the actions of the minions of the dark lords, Enlil, Marduk, and Ninurta (and perhaps others).

One other thing I learned during the webinar was about the one who came to be known as Thoth (and many other names) acted as the mentor of Prince Ea.  Thoth was an immortal, of high frequency. Now Ea has become one of the immortals.  Yet his heart still aches for the betrayal of his son and the violent acts of his half-brother.  To balance the karmic debt of his people, Ea brought back the genetic frequency codes of the original DNA given to the Terra Hu by the Seeders, the Pa Taal. He presented this precious gift to the Earth Alliance to calibrate within some of the med beds that will be brought to Terra once the Deep State is fully removed from the equation.  Events, not dates, remember?  Meanwhile, we can learn to raise our own frequency by meditating, eating properly for the body type, exercising, and working with Rife machines, sound therapies, natural remedies, and crystals.

So, the eternal question from Christians:  When is Jesus going to return? Is he Lord Sananda on board the Jerusalem ship?  The answer:  No, he is not.  No, Sananda and the Jerusalem ship are psyops.  See Elena’s Debunk page for further explanation.  By becoming fully activated human beings, we ARE the return of Christ consciousness.  Embrace the awareness and awesomeness of your own potential.

Now, I will bring this to a close lest it become too long.  I would recommend anyone who is curious to hear these stories from the emissary herself, to sign up for the webinar, which is available on: www.elenadanaan.org.

Respectfully,

Eliza Ayres

Here are some comments from Dr. Michael Salla:

Here’s an important webinar by Elena Danaan who gives an impressive historical overview of the fish symbolism found in Sumerian cuneiform texts linked to the Anunnaki leader Ea/Enki, and the teachings of Yeshua/Jesus. She shows the genetic/bloodline connection between Yeshua and Ea/Enki, the relevance of the fish symbolism, and what all this means for the development of Christ Consciousness. Danaan is correct to point out how the fish symbolism is by far a better symbol for the love and wisdom teachings of Yeshua, than the cross which symbolizes his suffering and crucifixion at the hands of the dark ones. Finally, she discusses the significance of the return of Ea and what this means for humanity being given the opportunity of restoring its Adamic DNA blueprint expressed through fish symbolism and achieving Christ Consciousness. https://www.crowdcast.io/c/f11c8m2xxrvh

Alex Collier: Flat vs Round Earth

Flat vs. Round Earth: Exploring the Controversy with Alex Collier!

Alex Collier Official

Flat Earth zealots don’t hear the facts: the planet is a globe. Flat earth is a CIA psyop.

Like Alex has said, it is a f**king distraction. Does it have anything to do with freeing humanity from the Draconian matrix system? No.

I have written about this subject elsewhere…

Bottom line: This is an extremely polarizing theory, whatever position you happen to take. For those who are certain the Earth is covered by a firmament upon which the moon, stars, and sun are painted or positioned… what can I say? And that the planet is flat with an ice wall at its edge with some unexplored lands lying beyond? Sounds like the contents of a fantasy novel… which part of that scenario is… Game of Thrones.

If you believe in flat Earth, well, that’s your choice, but take it elsewhere.

Like Alex said, a man who has fought the Deep State to present an awareness of what humanity really is, fractals of Source, and that extraterrestrials are real, this fight is for the future of humanity. The Deep State infiltrates ALL movements, including the Anon/Patriot movement and insinuates psyops like Flat Earth, Sananda, Lord Ashtar, Jerusalem ship, the return of Jesus, etc., to divide and conquer the Great Awakening. If this information, any information, doesn’t contribute to the cause of freeing Earth humanity, then it is a distraction. Flat Earth with its growing group of followers is a distraction, one I will no longer care to bring up to my audience. If you don’t agree with me, fine; go elsewhere.

Eliza – Photo Journal: Welaka State Forest

Mud Spring – Welaka State Forest

Saturday a friend and I drove to Welaka State Forest, a preserve located off of County Road (CR) 309, south of the small town of Welaka and west of Crescent City. Years ago, I had explored many of the trails in this state forest and found myself remembering how to get around without much effort. I joked about having a GPS in my head; I’m just good with remembering maps. I had a rumpled paper map in hand, but it was simply verification.

The forest is used for agricultural studies by the University of Florida. There are tracts of regulated forestry consisting primarily of tall, slender Longleaf Pines, with an understory of trimmed Saw Palmetto, ferns, and blueberries.

We parked at the trailhead for Orange Point, which is one of the camping spots in the forest. There is a pleasant park with picnic tables, a restroom and kiosks, with a fence defining the area. Passing through the fence, you are confronted with a choice, north or south? The sandy trail is Eagle Nest Way and runs mostly parallel to CR 309. It winds through forest until reaching another junction, where yet another choice presents itself, south or west towards Orange Point? We chose or rather I chose Orange Point, as I knew where I was going…

We walked along a dirt and grass vehicular road and then came to the trail that narrows and dives into the hammock… the trail to Orange Point. The various intersections are mostly marked with signage, but it does help to know where you’re going. The main road continues south and then makes a broad zigzag loop back to the previously mentioned intersection.

Orange Point Camp

At the end of the pleasant forest walk, you arrive at Orange Point. There is no outhouse that I’ve ever seen, so it would be best to take the necessary tools. A truck can access the camping area on the narrow trail, although it might collect a few scratches on the paint. One time I visited the site, there were some forestry men who had driven their vehicle in and were surveying the area.

St. Johns River with Ocala National Forest in distance

The trail guide where I first discovered a write-up for this area claims there are “great views” of the St. Johns River. That statement may have been true at one time, but the forest around the camp has grown and closed in. To get a view of the brackish river, you have to climb out on a narrow spit of land punctuated by a Sabal Palm at its terminus. There is no boat dock here, but a kayaker or canoeist could find a way to draw their craft out of the water.

My companion and I took a little break at the campground and then headed in the opposite direction, the way we had come, returning to Eagle Nest Way. I wanted to visit Mud Spring, too (see photo at top of article).

Eagle’s Nest Way

Eventually, we passed where we had parked the car and continued northwest towards Bobcat Crossing. (Editor’s note: I’ve seen TWO bobcats since moving to the new neighborhood).

An unusual feature on this part of the walk is Sulphur Springs, an aptly named blue-tinted pool shaded by forest. A tiny creek pours out of the spring and crosses the road we were hiking on, but narrows down so you can easily step or jump over the water. The spring water is cold.

At Bobcat Crossing, you hang a left, now heading in a westerly direction towards Mud Springs. There is a northern trailhead for Mud Springs Trail which is probably the most visited area of the forest on the west side of CR 309. We didn’t walk that way today.

Mud Spring

Mud Spring, is such a prosaic name for a pretty spring. The hiking guide claims the spring pumps out 1.4 MILLION gallons of fresh water daily. The water flows through a culvert and into the half-mile long Mud Creek Run, which empties into the St. Johns River. This is the sort of area that may attract manatee during the colder months as the spring water temperatures remain at a steady 72 degrees. Florida has many such natural springs.

The Mud Springs area has a picnic shelter, restroom, kiosk, the spring-fed pool with a ladder, and a dock for small boats accessing the Run from the St. Johns River. There is a short boardwalk that takes you out to the dock, passing by a cypress swamp. Tiny fingerling fish dart through the crystalline waters. You cannot see the St. Johns River from the dock.

Boat dock on Mud Springs Run

After another snack break at the springs, we headed back to the car. It was a fine warm and sunny day for a hike. We did not encounter any mosquitoes. The trails were in good condition, mostly dry. We did see quite a few people walking, usually with one or two dogs. It wasn’t crowded, but there were more people than I usually encounter when out hiking… still, it was a Saturday.

Nearby Welaka was setting up for their annual Christmas Parade, so we just squeaked by having the highway closed off. Access to Welaka can be made from the north off of U.S. Highway 17 or further south at Crescent City, traveling via CR 308.

After the hike, we drove to Crescent City. The cafe I intended to go to was closed; it’s only open for breakfast and early lunch. The cafe is also going to be closing. So, we headed to the Three Bananas for lunch, again. I had just been there a couple of days earlier. However, this time I was accompanied by my friend who knew all three former owners of the restaurant/bar. It changed hands a couple of years ago.

Well, there’s my report. Hope you enjoyed the photos.

This area of Florida has less population pressure than the coast. US Highway 17 travels north/south from the Jacksonville area. I would have to check a map to see how far south it goes, but it is a good road. There are also a ton of farms, small ranches, and nurseries in the area to the south of Crescent City. One nursery caught my eye, Starling Nursery, which had some beautiful plants growing in a wholesale setting. It was huge and I think rather new.

I also took a long walk on Thursday, but just to the Graham Swamp Trail, completing another four mile hike that day. I am getting my exercise, fresh air, and lots of Nature.

Greetings to all,

Eliza

P.S. From a quick glance of the Google map, it would appear US 17 terminates at or near Sanford, FL. It is a US Highway, passing into Georgia. Still, if you don’t want to travel on the Interstate I-95, this route is slower but more scenic and gives you a glimpse into a slower, older Florida.

Laura Aboli: Being Sensitive is an Internal Strength

Being sensitive does, at times, feel like a disadvantage. It means you are more vulnerable to external events, but it also means you are more in tune with your internal strength.

Your ability to feel things deeply, is what allows you to empathise with others, to sense things ahead of time, to identify people’s good or bad vibes, to detect lies, to feel for things and ultimately, to care.

We tend to talk a lot about love, but ‘caring’ is actually what feeds our outrage and drives us into action, it’s what brings out the necessary courage to do whatever it takes to right a wrong and what fuels the hunger for justice. Only sensitive people care enough to do something about things.

Sensitivity is not a weakness, it’s a gift. Yes, you will hurt more when disregarded, you will cry for longer when heartbroken, you will feel other people’s pain as if it was your own and you will suffer the madness of this world in an exhausting way, but your joy of victory will be greater, your sense of achievement will be incredible, your satisfaction when justice is served will be spectacular and your connection with the beauty, the magic and the mystery of the divine will make everything you’ve been through seem like a very small price to pay.

You say weakness? I say your sensitivity is your strength.
❤️❤️❤️

https://t.me/LauraAbolichannel

Notes to Readers:

What Laura says is so true. It took a long time before I truly appreciated my sensitivity. This aspect about me was not appreciated early on by members of my family or even by many friends. Being an introvert AND hypersensitive to a high degree actually unnerved some people through my experience. I could sense things, but not adequately explain what I was seeing or feeling at least in terms of what other people could comprehend. I just knew things and often experienced a sense of Deja vu, long before an event actually played out in everyday activities.

Now I am finding this once misunderstood sensitivity of mine is actually a strength. For instance, I knew what was being presented as a ‘newly’ discovered virus wasn’t true; it was simply a relabeling of influenza that perhaps had been fortified or weaponized by medical science. And then, the vaccines… and the manner in which they were being pushed by powerful corporate interests, the government, the medical industry… you didn’t have to tell me this was trouble. And now, people are suffering from major cognitive dissonance as they wrestle with the realization that their government is out to get them.

I’m not a cynic, just a realist. I can see things, the intent underlying an action taken by another person or group. As Laura has said, this is a power, a strength that has guided me throughout a difficult and somewhat isolated lifetime. Now, if I can help others by pointing out things so they can perform their own discoveries, then so be it, but people have to be willing to let go of their programming and begin to trust in their own innate abilities. I am not special, just wired differently than the majority of humans.

Michael Jaco speaks of unleashing intuition’s secrets. We all have this inner power and strength. It is our connection with Source, with the greater part of our Self that isn’t incarnated within these small earthly avatars. Our consciousness is as vast as the universe. It is time we all wake up to this and know it as fact. It is the knowledge of Self that the dark ones have attempted to hide from us, for even if we didn’t know this about ourselves, they did and used it against us.

It is time to no longer heed the divide and conquer programming of the dark ones and to reunite with the wholeness of our inner being, to be guided by the non-physical aspects of our senses, our intuition and feelings. These are powerful guides and have served me well, at least to the extent that I have consciously utilized them.

Your sensitivity is your strength. Know this as truth. Feel it within. When someone attempts to tell you otherwise, disregard them as being unaware and perhaps afraid… of you, the real you, the inner warrior.

Eliza: Photo Journal – Lake Crescent Conservation Area, Volusia County, FL

Kiosk in Crescent Lake Conservation Area

Today I ventured further, much further afield. I drove some rural roads to get to Crescent Lake Conservation Area, which is located near the settlement of Seville, Florida, off of SR 17. It’s a farm and ranching area, with lots of wide open spaces and some forested and swamps still left.

I followed the White Trail, which was marked by white diamonds nailed or painted on trees. From the photo above, you can see the area has quite a stand of mature Longleaf Pine, with some undergrowth of grasses and short shrubs. The White Trail sticks to the highland areas of the conservation area, although it is crossed by miniature creeklets and is crossed several times by a primitive road.

The park (if you can call it ‘a park’) has a camping area with a shelter, porta toilet and a picnic table. A man and his dog were camping there. We briefly exchanged greetings. His dog, Leo, was 11 years old and grey in the muzzle.

The area isn’t particularly scenic, just very quiet and secluded. The only man-made noises I heard while there were some airplanes and/or drones flying occasionally overhead.

The forest is crisscrossed by shallow tea-colored creeks and there were some puddles and wet spots to negotiate on the White Trail. I delicately stepped from tussock to tussock to avoid getting my feet drenched. I was hiking with regular walking shoes not boots. Most of the trail surface was either grass or sand, with very little mud except in the puddles.

There were some good-sized trees in the forest. Mosquitoes were present especially in the damper spots, but not as fierce as the previous day’s walk in Bulow Woods. I didn’t even apply repellent today.

The creek in the photo above is actually on a primitive road that passes through the forest. The road is possibly used for fire-fighting access during dry periods. Access to the camping area is via a locked gate. Permission to camp must be obtained from the St. John’s Water Management District.

The forest underbrush was thicker on the edges of the White Trail in places. The land dives down into marsh below the trail, to the east and north. The trail follows a broad circular route, 3.5 miles in length. I probably did about four miles since I got a bit mixed up in one area, but eventually followed the access road and found my way out to my parked car.

A muddy section

After finishing up the trail, I headed out to SR 17 north to Crescent City. I wanted to see the town in better weather. The last time I visited, the place was a fog bank; I couldn’t even see huge Lake Crescent.

Crescent City

From the look of the architecture, some houses/buildings in Crescent City date back to the late 1800’s. It is a sleepy Florida town, with about 1,650 inhabitants. There are a few restaurants, bed and breakfasts, small businesses and fish camps. The town is located right on the shore of Lake Crescent, a beautiful freshwater lake.

To the west of Crescent City is the St. Johns River, a brackish inland “river” that begins somewhere near Orlando and ends at Jacksonville. Crescent City is about 52 feet above sea level. Much of the low-lying land is subject to periodic flooding during the rainy season and certainly during hurricanes and tropical storms.

After eating lunch at The Three Bananas, a local watering hole (restaurant/bar) I headed north on SR 17 and then connected up to US 100 and back to Bunnell, making this a loop trip. It was a lot of driving, but pleasant country scenery and a nice dampish hike.

In all, it was a good outing. On my way home, I passed access roads to a couple of other places I have visited in the past, Welaka State Forest and Dunn Creek State Park. I may go back and check them out, again.

Hope you enjoy the photos. I didn’t dink around with the color saturation this time. BTW, the day was coolish, starting out in the upper 50’s F and the atmosphere was still humid so the photos appear a bit faded. It is what it is… Florida.

Eliza: Photo Journal – A Walk in the Woods

After a depressingly gray weekend, I got out on a walk through a portion of Bulow Woods. I hadn’t been there for a couple of weeks after all. I wanted to see if any progress had been made on repairing the northern portion of the trail. It didn’t appear so… but the water has receded from the path through Cedar Creek wetlands so I could approach the bridge, so some progress.

I’m experimenting with the color saturation on my photo editor. The high humidity grays out the photos. Yes, the grasses above were this bright sorrel color, quite pretty even in the soft lighting.

By now some of you are probably thinking, “Hmmm, one hammock looks like another one…” and you would be right, except these trees being slightly further inland are taller. Some of the oaks, hickories and pines soar well over 50 feet tall and lots more. Remember, these same trees have endured hurricanes for decades. The coast is just a couple of miles away across a salt marsh, smaller hammock, and coastal strand scrub.

Due to the high humidity (over 80%) and recent warm temperatures (up to 80F) there were swarms of mosies (mosquitoes) present. Every time I paused to take a photo I was engulfed in a buzzing cloud of irritating critters. I had to keep moving…

Cedar Creek Wetlands

Like I said above, I was able to reach the Cedar Creek bridge today after stepping delicately through a patch of mud… which was a pleasant sight. The last time I visited the woods, the low-lying wetland path was under several inches of water. It was a wet rainy season… more moisture than normal even for Florida short of a hurricane or two.

Damaged Bridge at Cisco Ditch

The bridge at Cisco Ditch was still officially out of commission, although I would guess some bolder bikers probably have made their way across the leaning bridge and into the muddy forest beyond. I noted some bike tread tracks on the middle and southern sections of the trail which runs 6.8 miles from Fairchild Oak to Plantation Ruins. In the past, I’ve hiked every mile.

Bulow Creek State Park map

Despite the bugs and the continuing gloomy weather, it was a pleasant walk. I just could not linger any where due to the swarms.

Let me know what you think of my attempt at color/saturation correction? Decades ago I worked for a season or two at Eastman Kodak on 35 mm, 26 mm, and 10 mm. My specialty was color correction. I didn’t like the hours, but the pay was good.

Enjoy your week.

Eliza: Photo Journal – Moses Creek Preserve

Eliza: Photo Journal – Moses Creek Preserve

Today I headed to a “new” destination on my second go-around in this area. I’ve been to Moses Creek Preserve once before. I was interested to see what changes have occurred in the meantime.

The preserve is located off of Florida SR 206, which can be accessed via I-95 and Florida A1A. Moses Creek is a tributary of Mantanzas River and is a salt marsh. There is a bridge over the river not far from the preserve.

The trail starts off in a pine forest. The assortment of pines tower above the undergrowth. The old road trail was damp today but didn’t have any puddles to begin with. There was a distinct roar of traffic from nearby I-95, U.S. 1, and A1A, until I had made my way well into the forest.

Moses Creek Trail

Not too far from the parking area, you will come upon a sign indicating a bike route. I’ve actually hiked on this trail in the past. It loops endlessly through the woods and looks fun for experienced mountain bikers.

If horses are allowed on the main trail, it would be difficult to unload since both parking areas are small, without the turn-around space required for truck and trailer. No horses are allowed on the bike routes.

At. .4 miles, you reach another junction. If you go right, you will end up at a group camping site. I did go to the end of the road, but noticed someone was camping there and had driven in. Being alone, I exercised some caution and then dove into the nearby bike trail, knowing it would take me to the next side trail.

So, there I was doing loop d’loops through the forest on a firm but narrow trail.

Bridge on bike trail

There were even some nice bridges on the bike trail which kept me out of the gooey mud. I was concerned the planks would be slippery, but they proved dry enough for safe passage. While hiking in the past in Western Washington, I would have stomped through the mud in my waterproof boots and gaiters. I wasn’t equipped for that sort of thing today. I’ve been living in flip flops now for years… but I was wearing a good pair of walking shoes today.

Bike trail

The surface of the bike trail was hard-packed and only mushy in a few spots due to the bike traffic. I was fortunate no one was on the trail with me!

You better duck!

Eventually the bike trail dumped me out on the next side trail which the 50 Hikes in North Florida book describes as being a bluff with a view. That may have been true several years ago, but the tree canopy has grown up and now there is nothing to be seen except a wide sandy trail. I turned left and headed back to the main trail; I was done with the zig zag bike trail.

The main trail was very pleasant, wide enough for a truck, bikes, or walkers. I did not encounter anyone and followed the trail to yet another side trail. It dipped slightly downhill towards the creek and hopefully would give me some views of the salt marsh.

At two miles in (from the East Trailhead), you reach the third side trail and the intersection of the White and Yellow Trails. The Yellow Trail comes from the western parking lot; the white trail from the eastern parking lot. The Yellow Trail is the more direct route if you are doing a long version of this walk. I wasn’t planning on doing that, as I am still conditioning after a long hiatus from hiking. So, I headed down the third side trail towards the creek.

At the end of the side trail is a dock on the creek, and nearby a small camping area on the bluff above the salt marsh. The next series of photos are snaps I took of the creek and salt marsh. The area wasn’t particularly clear today — there being a lot of humidity and salt spray present, so the distant oceanside houses don’t show up. You can see the traffic on nearby A1A in the distance.

I saw a few wading birds flying in the salt marsh, a Great Blue Heron, Green Heron, and something unidentifiable. In the woods, I also saw several squirrels and what appeared to be a family of Pileated Woodpeckers (yes, Woody Woodpecker sorts) with their distinctive red head.

I sat down for a short break with a snack and some water. After my rest, I started back up the White Trail to the junction and then back to the car. It was here I encountered a few people, two women who were ushering a group of eight children. Other than a couple of bikers I spied through the underbrush whizzing past on the bike trail, these were the only people I saw on my outing.

The Yellow Trail continues on, but I’m not quite ready to tackle it. There is up to 12 miles of hiking possible if you go to the end of the Yellow Trail which curves around the salt marsh and ends at a camping area. Bikers could certainly handle such an undertaking. Backpacking and overnight camping is allowed. I’m not sure what sort of permission is required.

With one more look at the dock and its attached ramp, I began the climb back up the hill.

The main trail is sandy and then, as it re-enters the forest, it is a grassy lane. I soon reached the parking lot to complete another four+ mile hike.

On the way home, I traveled via SR A1A to search out some more possible future destinations. There are a ton of beaches along the way south of St. Augustine which I haven’t visited yet.

Well, another successful outing… I’ll go back and avoid the first two side trails and the bike paths this time and attempt to get a little further along the Yellow Trail.

In joy,

Eliza
